The Carpio family from Oklahoma welcomed Moose, a German Shepherd puppy, into their loving embrace in 2022.
Little did they know that this furry addition would become an invaluable part of their family. Initially, having another dog alongside their existing German Shepherd, Chomper, seemed unlikely.
However, when Lauren Carpio stumbled upon a social media post about Moose seeking a forever home, she couldn’t resist the opportunity. Coinciding with her birthday, Moose felt like the perfect gift, and the family’s journey together began.

From the moment Moose arrived, he formed an extraordinary bond with Lauren and Josh’s son, Noah. Despite his lack of formal training, Moose seemed acutely aware of Noah’s unique needs.

From that moment on, Moose’s nightly visits to Noah’s room became a cherished routine. “Moose goes in to check on him often and give him kisses. Sometimes I’m lucky and look at the camera at the perfect time and capture this adorableness,” Lauren shared, her heart filled with gratitude.

“He may not be trained to be a therapy/service dog, but you can’t look at these pictures and tell me he doesn’t have a special connection with my son.
