Hope flickered. A phone call from a child claiming ownership fueled optimism. “She’d have to ask her father if they could get her,” Kristin Siarkowicz, a BAS staff member, recalled. But hope soon dimmed. Weeks turned into months, the promised arrival of her family a cruel echo in the empty halls.

Before heading to her forever home, Lindsy found another champion in Noel’s Dream Bully Rescue from Waltham, Massachusetts. They welcomed her into their program, providing a quiet space to decompress from shelter life and reacclimate to a loving environment.
The transition was seamless. The BAS team reported, “Lindsy has already enjoyed peanut butter, soft-serve ice cream, walks, a sweater, and lots and lots of hugs, kisses, and snuggles.” She thrived in this nurturing environment, her spirit rekindled by kindness.

Finally, the day arrived! Lindsy found her forever home, a haven filled with love and acceptance. Her senior years didn’t diminish her enthusiasm. Her tail wags continued, a constant reminder of her unwavering spirit.
The final BAS update in December 2019 captured Lindsy’s newfound happiness. A photo showed her nestled under a cozy blanket, enjoying a peaceful nap on a Christmas morning. “Who remembers Lindsy? We got this great photo of Lindsy on Christmas morning. What a life,” the BAS team wrote.
